Solutions to Common Faults in Vibratory Feeders During Operation
Today is up to us. Dongguan Huichuang Plastics Machinery Co., Ltd. Let me briefly explain some troubleshooting methods for common faults that may occur during the operation of a vibrating feeder:
Vibrating feeder It is a commonly used piece of mineral processing equipment in sand and gravel production lines, aside from crushers and sand-making machines. Here, Qidong Zhuoya Mining Machinery would like to remind everyone that: Vibrating feeder In production, it’s inevitable that we’ll encounter various issues. Today, Zhuoya will share with you how to address these problems.
Vibrating feeder The vibration gap between the exciter’s iron core and armature has become blocked. The fault manifests itself as follows: During operation, the built-in electromagnetic feeder of the vibrator causes the feeder’s power switch to trip. After re-energizing the system, the feeder operates with the fuse overheating, the current exceeding the rated value, and the fuse blowing within a short period of time. Upon inspection of the feeder’s control system, the contactor’s engagement appears normal; however, the power switch continues to trip frequently, and when the vibrator is operating, its amplitude is virtually zero.
Fault Analysis: Based on the observed phenomenon, the primary cause is that material has entered the interior of the vibrator, thereby blocking and jamming the vibrator’s vibration clearance. Upon opening the sealing cover for inspection, it will be found that the silicone rubber used for sealing has been damaged. Sometimes, damage to the vibrator’s cooling hose can also lead to this issue.
Vibrating feeder Shell leakage—fault analysis: The vibration feeder with an integrated vibrator features a sealing housing with numerous connecting bolts. Particularly after disassembly and maintenance, sealing becomes quite challenging. Fault recommendation: Typically, the issue can be resolved by tightening the bolts and adjusting the pressure at the discharge point. Motor-driven vibration feeder
Bearing damage in the vibrator—fault analysis: During operation, the vibrator may exhibit smoking and reddening of the bearings. This is due to the continuous impact exerted on the bearings by the eccentric weights during rotation, combined with suboptimal on-site working conditions, which shorten the bearing’s service life compared to its normal expected lifespan. Fault recommendation: We recommend using higher-quality or imported bearings to extend their service life. Additionally, bearing lubrication is particularly critical; regular and enhanced lubrication, or the installation of an automatic lubrication system, is highly advisable.
